  • Boundary scripts for home and work
  • Micro-practices that keep momentum when life is messy

We’re living in a world where everyone is carrying too much — too many tabs open, too many expectations, too much pressure to be “on” all the time. And now we’ve added AI to the mix… which for many people just feels like one more thing to figure out.

In this honest, funny, and deeply human talk, Nancy breaks down how AI can actually reduce overwhelm — not increase it. Blending real-world storytelling, nervous system science, and practical demos, Nancy shows how AI can become a clarity engine, a thinking partner, and a stabilizing force for people who are juggling far too much.

Whether you’re a founder, people manager, employee, creative, or parent trying to stay afloat, this talk gives you a trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent pathway to using AI in a way that feels safe, empowering, and genuinely life-changing.

Outcomes:

  • Replace vague “balance” with capacity-based planning
  • Boundary scripts for home and work
  • Micro-practices that keep momentum when life is messy

Attendees will walk away with:

2. Tools to Reduce Overwhelm and Mental Load

Simple prompts and systems to untangle chaos, manage decisions, organize information, and create mental space — even for people who are burnt out or overstretched.

3. Healthy Relationship Basics: AI Without Losing Yourself

4. Real Prompts, Real Workflows, Real Relief

Nancy's Journey Into Speaking

New parents deserve care that protects their mental health. Nancy builds talks that reduce stigma, offer real tools, and make leaders better allies.

Nancy’s love for public speaking started early – like 12 years old in Toastmasters early. That spark stayed with her; she continued to build her voice through business competitions, university stages and into leadership roles at Schulich and York University.

A woman speaks into a microphone to a seated group of four women in a bright, modern room with a plant and arched alcoves.

As she stepped into her professional life, Nancy’s speaking skills evolved. She spoke at CPA recruitment events, training seminars for tax professionals, and emceed weddings for hundreds—all before turning 30. But the most powerful talks? They came after everything fell apart.

Following a traumatic mental health crisis in early motherhood, Nancy began speaking about the things no one wants to talk about out loud—postpartum psychosis, identity loss, ambition after motherhood, and building a business while barely holding on. She started sharing the story behind Anamav, her postpartum care agency for new parents—and this sparked a new kind of speaking career, one rooted in realness.

Today, whether she’s addressing founders, parents, students, leaders or health professionals, Nancy shows up with honesty, heart, and a little humour. She’s not there to pretend everything’s fine—she’s there to talk about what’s actually going on, and how we can rise anyway.

Inspired Metamorphosis: Transform Your Life. Ignite Your Purpose. Inspired the World.

Some stories change the way you see your own life. Inspired Metamorphosis brings together women from around the world who share the experiences and decisions that changed everything for them, and Nancy is proud to be one of them.

Her chapter, “The Week I Lost Myself and Found My Calling,” is her most personal story yet.

It’s an honest look at the moment her life turned upside down and the calling she discovered on the other side. Putting it out into the world took courage, and it’s the same openness she brings to every stage and every conversation about wellbeing, leadership, and resilience.

Brought together by author and speaker Cathy Derksen, this collection is a reminder that transformation often begins in our hardest moments, and that none of us are going through them alone.

A book that gives back: all profits are donated to How Women Lead, a nonprofit supporting women in leadership.

Nancy from Anamav is a passionate and reliable force in the postpartum space. She brings both heart and drive to her mission of supporting women during one of life’s most transformative times. I had the pleasure of having her as a speaker on my platform and at Mumello events—she consistently brings warmth, insight, and vulnerability. Nancy has a natural ability to speak to the emotional and practical realities of postpartum life, making those listening feel seen, supported, and more prepared. Her personal journey fuels her care, and it shows in everything she does.

I had the absolute pleasure of hosting Nancy as a guest speaker for our International Women’s Day networking event at YWiB. Her story was not only insightful and full of valuable knowledge, but also deeply inspiring. Nancy’s entrepreneurial journey is a powerful example of turning personal experience into purpose. She identified real gaps and unmet needs—challenges that so many women face—and transformed them into a meaningful business. Her authenticity, passion, and drive truly lit up the room!

Nancy was genuinely invested in making the event a success and I would gladly have Nancy at another event in the future. Nancy, thanks for your authenticity and transparency!
